At the Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge, our goal is to provide high-quality and complete orthopedic care in a pleasant, friendly and convenient environment. Additionally, we want to make your experience as efficient and easy as possible.
As the first Baton Rouge orthopedic clinic, founded in 1948, Bone and Joint Clinic of Baton Rouge has served the residents of South Louisiana for over 60 years. Today, we have grown to a family of over 70 specialized employees including 14 physicians, registered nurses, certified orthopaedic technicians, registered radiological technologists and certified physician assistants. We also maintain a staff of insurance specialists as well as Medicare specialists to assist our patients by filing all insurance claim forms.
The Clinic is a participating facility in the Medicare program and is a qualified provider for numerous worker compensation carriers and managed care networks (HMOs and PPOs). The Clinic requires that all physicians achieve and maintain full board certification by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Orthopaedic surgery is the branch of medicine that involves the treatment of illnesses and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. We treat people of all ages to correct problems caused by accidents, sports injuries, disabilities, or degenerative diseases such as arthritis. Our physicians perform a complete range of orthopaedic services including the treatment of fractures, arthroscopic surgery, sports medicine, treatment of hand and foot disorders, total joint replacements, treatment of back and hip disorders, independent medical examinations, disability determinations and pediatric and adult spine surgery.
